Outside: Can't Get Enough!

I have been having so much fun with Little Boy since he started walking -- I know...I'm never going to shut up about it. Not that he wasn't fun before, but the things we are able to do now are so much more amazing.

Take Saturday, for example:

We slapped on the sunscreen and his little hat, and we went outside for most of the morning and afternoon while Dad was working on putting the railing around the deck -- gotta keep the little guy safe!

In the afternoon, I grabbed the ball from the garage -- the one that I bought many years ago with the intention of it someday being played with by my child...that day has come! -- and we played a game of throw, not catch...just throw -- really it was a game of fetch.

He couldn't get enough of the big yellow ball, and even today, when he saw it out the window, he wanted to go play with it.

The child seriously loves outside. He would probably live outside if we would let him. He's always pointing outside, asking us to take him to the park or let him play in the grass. He gets upset when we tell him it's raining, or too hot, or that we can't go out at that exact moment. I'm looking forward to the days when I have to ask him 50 times to come inside for supper -- and not 50 times to get off the computer :)
