3 Under-Rated Movies

November 02, 2012
My husband and I thoroughly enjoy watching movies, and I just wanted to share with you three movies that, I think, did not get the attention that they deserved from the box office:

1. Morning Glory - This movie is funny, witty, sad, happy, and every thing in between. It is one of the best performances that I have ever seen out of Rachel McAdams, and it showed a different side of Harrison Ford that I really enjoyed and wished that he would show more often. This film is, by far, one of the best ones that I have seen in the last few years.

2. Extraordinary Measures - Is it strange that I have chosen two films that star Harrison Ford? Perhaps. But it's not strange that I chose this movie. It's the first movie that Brenden Fraser has done in a long time that I have actually been interested in seeing, and it is one of those films that has you hoping and praying for that happy ending. It may seem to drag a bit at times, but the story is quite endearing and the characters are so very likeable -- even grumpy Harrison Ford.

3. Just Go With It - I didn't want to see this movie because I am not the biggest Jennifer Aniston fan, but I ended up thoroughly enjoying it, found Aniston to be quite enjoyable in her role, and -- because of this film -- I laughed when I saw Dolph Lundgren in The Expendables 2. The kids did a fantastic job in their roles, and the other characters were sometimes a lot funnier than Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler -- don't get me started on Dave Matthews. I don't know how many times I have watched this film since the first time, but, I'll tell you, I feel like watching it right now.

I hope you have a fantastic weekend, and maybe you'll consider watching one of these movies! Peace and love to you.
