Into the Sixth Month

October 01, 2011

Today my son is 6 months old. It is unbelievable how quickly the time has passed, and I am amazed by the new little things that he is able to do everyday. It could be something as simple as touching my cheek, but it means so much to me.

This morning we fed him food for the first time, and he loved it! He was all over the spoon; he was all over the bowl; he willingly opened his mouth to eat. It was fantastic how eager he was to eat. It was almost as if he was saying to us "how come we didn't try this sooner?"

  1. It is so amazing to see them grow! I remember when my older son was born, I wanted to much to get to know him, but I felt it would be so long before he could talk and play with me. Now he is in middle school (yikes!)

BTW, I found your blog through the I Love Art team discussion.

  2. That's the hardest part! I can't wait for him to be able to ride a bike or play catch, but I have to keep reminding myself to slow down -- he's only a baby for so long :)

    Glad you found me!
